2022 GES Newly Recruited Teachers Remaining Staff IDs Release Date & Stats
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has not finished creating personnel IDs for teachers hired in 2022. Mr Yaw Opoku Mensah, the Deputy Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Education (MoE), said this at a meeting with Joshua Owusu Yeboah, the CNRT’s press and information secretary.
According to the CNRT press secretary, new teachers who have not gotten their staff IDs should be calm because the GES has not completed the production of staff IDs, according to information provided by the Ministry of Education’s deputy PRO.
Mr. Yaw Mensah provided the following data on produced and non-generated employee IDs:
According to him, the GES hired a total of 16850 new instructors for the school year 2022. He also reported that as of August 8, 2022, 13,688 personnel IDs have been produced.
However, according to the recently posted teachers’ press secretary, very few instructors still do not have their staff numbers since they exchanged information before the August IDs were made public.
“As of the time I spoke with him, there were 3162 individuals left. To me, the remaining figure may be much lower because August’s figure was produced long before I spoke with him “He said.
Remaining Staff IDs Release Date
Reports from him also indicate that GES will complete the generation of the remaining staff IDs of newly posted teachers and complete the biometric process within this Month, where payment will start in September.
New teachers recruited by the GES without staff IDs are urged to exercise patience and expect it within this month as promised by the Ministry’s PRO.
