Agya Koo and celebrities who endorsed NPP should bow their heads in shame – Mr Beautiful

Mr Beautiful, a Ghanaian actor and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter, has remarked that his colleagues who backed and approved the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been embarrassed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-terrible Addo’s performance.

In a recent interview with Metro TV, the actor called out Agya Koo, Matilda Asare, Kalybos, and other celebrities for allegedly misleading the people with the NPP’s message of optimism during the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, in which the party’s flagbearer was elected.

Former president and staunch NDC supporter John Mahama, on the other hand, stated that political disagreements should not breed animosity amongst celebrities.

“I shall be involved in politics forever and ever because there is politics in your family.” Politics may be found everywhere. I purchase gas and pay my kids’ school expenses. As a result, I will unite behind someone I believe can save the country.

“Because we support different football clubs, you are not my adversary.” You simply lack maturity. So nothing can deter me. “I will encourage everyone,” he declared.

According to the well-known actor, his singular choice to back the NDC in the 2012 general election cleared the door for his colleagues to publicly advocate for political parties.

“When I publicly backed His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in 2012, it prepared the door for Agya Koo, Matilda Asare, and others to endorse this administration (NPP) in 2016.”

“These folks, Agya Koo, Matilda, and Kalybos, should all be ashamed since the party they backed failed.” “Look at what the man I backed, Mahama, achieved for the country,” he continued.
