Akuapem Poloo has been open about her conversion to Islam with her admirers.
The Ghanaian actress went to the mosque today for the traditional Friday prayers, known as Jummah.
Rosemond Brown went to the mosque dressed in a white ‘jellabiya’ and lace ‘hijab,’ according to a video posted on her Instagram account.
She photographed herself performing ablution before heading to the inner sanctum of the mosque for prayers.
The Imam welcomed her to the mosque and gave her a shout-out during his sermon. He also prayed for Akuapem Poloo’s strength on her new adventure.
“May Allah reward her. May Allah strengthen her in the face of any criticism.” Akuapem Poloo went to a huge shoe rack where she kept her slippers after the prayers.
She then spoke with other people at the mosque before joining several males for a picture shoot. Her caption informs followers that her first day at the mosque was fruitful and significant to her.
“Alhamdulillah, just because it’s Friday and it’s my first time in the mosque.” The love is strong and so blissful. “I felt blessed when my name was uttered aloud during a lesson,” she added.
