Asante Kotoko reach deal to sign Emmanuel Adebayor; Contract details, jersey number drops online – Report

Asante Kotoko, a Ghanaian behemoth, has reportedly agreed to sign Togolese star Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Porcupine Warriors club has been in talks with the former Arsenal and Real Madrid great, according to insiders, and a contract has finally been achieved.

Asante Kotoko is now in first place in the Ghana Premier League and aspires to improve in order to compete for more trophies.

As a result, the club has signed Emmanuel Adebayor to reinforce its roster.

According to reports, both the player and the club have agreed to sign a short-term contract following discussions.

However, it is unknown whether the player would be signed for the current 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season or will have to wait until the next year.

Emmanuel Adebayor has formerly played for Manchester City, FC Metz, AS Monaco, Crystal Palace, and Istanbul Basaksehir, among other prominent clubs.
