Bank worker who stole $215,000 in 1969 and never came back to work found in 2021

A man has been identified as the man who stole $215,000 in 1969 when he was only 20 years old.
The man, Theodore John Conrad, allegedly stole the money, which is worth roughly $1.7 million in today’s currency, after pulling off one of the largest bank robberies in history.
According to CTV News, police announced on Friday, November 12, that they had finally been able to locate the man after more than 50 years.
He relocated to Boston and changed his name to Thoman Randele, which is one of the key reasons he was never apprehended.
Despite the fact that the man’s picture was on a popular American criminal fighting series, nothing led to his whereabouts. During his lifetime, he was successful. Another surprise is that Conrad was never apprehended alive, dying of lung cancer at the age of 71 in May 2021.
Peter J Elliott, one of the investigators, claimed that his father was working on the case but never made any progress. He went on to say that now that the case has been solved, he hopes his father is content in his grave.
