The Ghana Education Service (GES) has set a timetable for the Common Core Curriculum, often known as the Junior High School (JHS) curriculum (CCP).
According to the agency, the three-day non-residential program will begin on January 12th and finish on January 14th, 2022.
Teachers who have been dismissed or moved by the Ghana Education Service are confused where they should go for the impending CCP curriculum training program.
According to Mr Yaw Opoku Mensah, the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Deputy Spokesperson, teachers who have been relocated to other districts would be trained in their previous districts because their data is still with the old district.
Teachers who have recently received transfer or release letters are to train at their old district, according to a post on his official Facebook page. This is because the discharged or moved teacher’s prior district will continue to validate him or her for a while.
He went on to say that JHS Headteachers should tell their teachers to prepare for the next session, and that they should also tell any teachers who have been released to come back to participate in the training.
