Yaa Linda, a 32-year-old female teacher, was reportedly murdered by her fiancé, Eric Sasa, who is also a teacher at Ejumako in the Central Region.
Before her death, Yaa Linda worked as a teacher at Gomoa Ejumako D/A Basic School in the Gomoa West District alongside her fiancé.
She had been married to Eric Sasa for more than eight years and had four children with him.
Residents informed Yaw Boagyan of the EIB Network Central Regional Correspondent that the dead told Eric on multiple times to complete the proper ceremonies, but he refused.
The dead and their four children subsequently hired a room and moved out of Eric’s apartment.
She informed Eric that she would not return to live with him until he performed her marriage ceremonies. On Friday, March 11, 2022, Eric, enraged by Linda’s decision, paid her a visit and thrashed her viciously.
Fearful, the youngsters fled the room and began yelling for aid for their mother.
When Eric heard the children yelling for help, he hurriedly exited the house. Residents hurried inside the room to see Linda unconscious on the floor.
She was rushed to the Apam Government Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body has since been deposited at the Apam Government Hospital mortuary.
Residents and the Police in Apam have embarked on a search for the suspect but they are yet to arrest him.
The Apam Police has appealed to the public for information on the suspect and has subsequently declared him wanted.
