According to rumors, Andrew Dede Ayew’s golden watch has gone stolen from the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
During a sports program on Kumasi’s Angel FM, Saddick Adams, a sports journalist, corroborated this.
“I just got a call from captain Andre Dede Ayew,” he added. At the stadium, his watch is lost. He stated that whomever recovers the watch would be rewarded handsomely. He claims to know a great deal about the golden watch. It’s worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
Despite being barred from the two-leg encounter against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Dede Ayew traveled in to encourage his colleagues.
The senior national team will play their Nigerian counterparts in a two-legged tournament, with the victor winning one of Africa’s five slots in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars will play their opening leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25, 2022, with the return match four days later in Abuja.
