Crude oil discovered in a village at Western Region
A material thought to be crude oil was discovered, which sent some inhabitants in an impoverished community in the Western Region into a frenzy.
The National Petroleum Authority would need to examine the material to see if it qualifies as crude oil or not.
Locals in the Western Region, which is already a designated region thought to be rich in crude and other mineral resources, believe the material is crude oil, according to the tale that was published by UTV.
Since it was found in the offshore seas not far from the far western portion of the coast, crude oil is already being drilled in Ghana.
However, it would be a novel phenomena to find crude oil in the area, and the people of Apremdo are already joyful and upbeat about it.
