Don’t be surprised if I end my life – Ex-wife Vice President
Marry Mubaiwa, Zimbabwe Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s ex-wife has warned that she is contemplating suicide and that people should not be shocked if she commits suicide.
This follows her right arm being amputated in September.
Marry Mubaiwa, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoedema, has been dangerously unwell for several months. Several applications to seek treatment outside the nation, however, were denied by the courts.
The former model and video vixen stated that she is contemplating suicide due to her excruciating suffering.
Apart from her physical condition, which she claims is failing, Marry Mubaiwa claims she is psychologically ill due to depression. Her children have not seen her since 2019.
Marry Mubaiwa told the South African daily Sunday Times,
“I am not well at all, and I believe that if I had left the country to seek better care, I would be well, but the court refused to grant me my passport as part of the bail terms.”
“It’s really terrible for me not to see my children. I have suicidal thoughts from time to time, so don’t be shocked if I do. I haven’t spoken to my children or seen them since 2019.”
The former second lady added,
Our children have nothing to do with what is happening between us … These are young children. I always ask myself what he says to them about me. These are kids who need their mother.
Mubaiwa also insisted that she is innocent of all charges laid against her.
I spent nights and days crying, asking God: ‘Why did you let this happen to me?’ Everything I am accused of, I didn’t do it.
Right now, I am so sick. I am having challenges with my legs that are swollen and so painful, and the doctors told me after the amputation of my right arm that my body has too much fluid.
Marry Mubaiwa also wished her ex-husband, Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, well following his new marriage to Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi.
I wish them all the happiness in the world.
