Hundreds of thousands of smartphone customers might be locked out of WhatsApp after the messaging app announces it might disable the service they give to those outdated cellphones.

WhatsApp launched a mass lists of 43 smartphones working on Android and iOS which they will be out of the system and cant be on their platform starting November 2021.

As soon as disabled, customers and users of the said phones won’t be able to send messages and snaps, or make video calls through the WhatsApp which is the most popular messaging app in the world, UK’s Daily Mirror reported on Friday, September 3.

The corporate mentioned the adjustments are aimed toward enhancing effectivity whereas at the same time phasing out help for the outdated models of phones and refocusing on new technology devices.

All phones model with Android version 4.0.4 or earlier installed will be incompatible with WhatsApp, in addition to iPhones with iOS 9 or earlier installed.

All users of the following smartphone must walk straight to the store and purchase new one or else you are not going to use the popular messaging service app in the world.
