Ghana’s Sports Ministry directs Ghana FA to dissolve Black Stars management committee after embarrassing AFCON exit – Full Details here

Following Ghana’s humiliating withdrawal from the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations, the Sports Ministry has asked the Ghana Football Association to dismiss the Black Stars executive committee.

Ghana was eliminated from the competition after losing to Morocco and Comoros in the group round.

The Black Stars were eliminated from the tournament after losing to debutants Comoros in the final group game on Tuesday in Garoua.

Following the exit, the Ghana FA and the technical team led by Coach Milovan Rajevac have come under intense scrutiny, with fans calling for the team to be disbanded and the coach to be fired.

The Ghana FA was invited to a meeting on Friday by the Sports Ministry, which has asked the FA to restructure the present Black Stars management committee, which is chaired by George Amoako.
