Controversial MP and member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has verbally assaulted Alhassan Suhuyini, who is also a member of Parliament for Tamale North, who petitioned the Speaker of Parliament to summon him before the Parliamentary Privileges Committee.
Kennedy Agyapong has said he will continue to speak the truth despite threats from police and media.
Hon. Agyapong claims he has accomplished nothing in his life and so wishes to set Ghana on fire.
On Thursday, July 15, Kennedy Agyapong responded on his radio station, Oman FM, saying, “You cannot use the media and the police to muzzle me.” You say that I should be sent to the Parliamentary Privileges Committee.
He said that the Joy FM company owner told him that the staff had decided to undermine the government because the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration was looking after them, an allegation rejected by Joy FM management.
Joy FM has been shamed, and they should write an apologetic letter to the families of those who died in the Ejura event. They should also write to individuals who have been harmed.
He told me in my office that the Joy FM crew is threatening to undermine the government because we do not look after them. If they press me, I’ll reveal all there is to know about Joy FM.”
