Akuapem Poloo, a controversial actress, has revealed her conversion to Islam in a recent Instagram post.
On August 9, the actress finished the procedure by being handed with trinkets symbolizing her admittance into the church.
The conversion was carried out under the supervision of the Deputy Imam of ASWAJ Ga West and Chief Imam of Nsakina Quran Reciter, as well as his board of directors.
Other Islamic leaders, including women, attended the ceremony.
Images she shared on social media captured Poloo fully covered from head to toe with a wide smile on her face.
She is yet to announce her new name as required by the religion.
