I once ate faeces before my ‘madam’ gave me food – Celestine Donkor
Celestine Donkor, a Ghanaian gospel singer, described her most humiliating incident to inspire people to remain faithful to God so that he might alter their tale. Celestine Donkor claims that someone she worked for forced her to consume baby feces before providing her decent nourishment.
As the seventh child in a household of fifteen, the gospel singer stated that supplies were limited. This meant she had to work in numerous families to support herself.
“I was working as a housekeeper.” That’s how I grew up. Living with diverse types of individuals was a significant aspect of my life since it allowed me to experience different things on different levels.
“Some of the individuals I stayed with were quite helpful. They adopted me as their own daughter. There was no sense of being an outcast. And some made me feel rejected and less human,” she told Rainbow radio.
Celestine Donkor described a harrowing experience she had in one of these houses.
“I stayed in a compound house with a woman, assisting her with housework,” she explained.
She already had a maid, so I assisted her. She refused to give me food one day after I had completed all of the maid’s responsibilities. When our madam’s baby pooped in its diaper, she removed it and told me to eat the feces before she gave me food. I ate the baby’s feces because I was starving. I’ve never told anyone because I think it’s humiliating.”
