Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako, better known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has dismissed claims that he does not speak fluent English despite having attended one of the country’s best Senior High Schools (SHS).
He claims that the type of English he speaks gets him money, and that is the most important thing to him.
Chairman Wontumi stated in an interview with the Delay Show that he studied General Arts at Prempeh College.
“We go there [Prempeh College] to make friends and to get information that will help us in the future,” he explained.
“I speak the kind of English that brings money, the kind of English that allows my firm to prosper,” he remarked.
He also revealed that he used to go to Bible school and had around 12 fellowships.
