In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the mother of one declared unequivocally that non-Muslim males who want to marry her must first convert to Islam before she will consent to marry them.
According to Akuapem Poloo, because she is now a complete Muslim, she cannot marry a man who does not share her beliefs.
In response to accusations that she converted to Islam in order to marry a wealthy Alhaji, Akuapem Poloo categorically disputed the allegations.
She said that she changed to Islam because of her faith and love for the religion, not because of a guy, as some in the media thought.
