In Black Stars, Captain Smart claims that no one can hurt Thomas Partey.
Captain Smart, host of Onua FM’s breakfast program, has spoken out against the alleged usage of black magic, often known as ‘juju,’ in the Black Stars’ camp during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars’ early elimination from the current competition has been blamed on a variety of factors, with the usage of black magic in the team’s camp increasingly becoming the dominant cause in the team’s poor performance.
Thomas Partey told the technical staff, according to Captain Smart, deputy captain of the squad, that one of the senior players brought a spiritualist to the Stars camp, making the environment unpleasant for him.
The player’s complaints were ignored by the technical team, according to Onua Maakye, and Thomas Partey was on the verge of leaving the Black Stars camp. “The Ghana Football Association urged with the Ministry of Sports to speak with Thomas Teye Partey, who had threatened to resign or close his door for the national squad.”
During the AFCON 2021, Partey reported to the technical team that one of the senior players had brought his personal mallam/priest to the team’s camp/hotel, and the mallam was coming there every night and chanting words from the player’s room at 1:00am, which was very disturbing for him, but the technical team did nothing.”
TWI NEWS “The players bitterly complained about this and when I spoke to some of them, they also complained about the stench that was coming from the said player’s room. I love Thomas Partey and nobody can harm him in the national team,” Captain Smart said on Onua TV.
