JUST IN: Veteran actor, Ekow Blankson passes on
The actor, who was also involved in other private companies, portrayed a variety of parts in films and television commercials.
He appeared in films such as Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party, and Famous.
Hitz FM, an entertainment radio station, announced the news on its Twitter page.

He graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama).
Mr. Blankson also earned a marketing certificate from the Heineken Global Commerce University in Amsterdam.
Career
Ekow Blankson has formerly worked for TV Africa, Media General Limited, and The Multimedia Group.
He was the Managing Director of Brands and Corporate Communications at The Multimedia Group, as well as the General Manager of Luv FM and Nhyira FM.
He also appeared in and directed various Ghanaian films. Prior to his death, he worked as the Commercial Manager at GhanaWeb.
