Samuel Boadu, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, was brought to the hospital in Elmina on Wednesday afternoon and is in stable condition.
During the matchday eight-match versus Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Complex, the young trainer was brought to the hospital.
According to accounts, Coach Boadu was not feeling well during the game.
This is the second time in a league game that the double-winning coach has had difficulties while coaching.
He is, however, still in the hospital, where he is being monitored by physicians.
Following the club’s participation in the CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup, the coach was under a lot of pressure.
Hearts of Oak will be looking to keep their momentum going this weekend when they visit the struggling Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium in the matchday nine games.
