The Ghana Education Service (GES) has sent an urgent warning to teachers at all levels who are up for promotion.
According to GES administration, several teachers who are eligible for promotion have been placed on the appropriate compensation scale, leaving just a few persons unpromoted.
Currently, around seventeen thousand people have been promoted and compensated out of a total of twenty-eight thousand.
According to confirmed sources reaching our portal, the remaining numbers of unpromoted employees are being worked on and are likely to be reflected in September. Regardless, because of the large quantity, some will be sacrificed.
This means that some people will be placed on a scale even after the GES’s deadline.
Concerning higher rank promotion, the service has begun issuing promotion letters to qualified personnel who meet the promotion requirements. This is nevertheless dependent on the region or municipality one finds him/herself in.
