Sad as Teacher is in a critical condition and needs about ¢42,000.00 for treatment; Click Here To Help Him
A Ghana Education Service (GES) employee is critically ill and requires $42,000.00 in medical treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
The Previous Akatsico Students Union (PASU) 2018 batch (SRC 2016/2017) is requesting urgent financial assistance from the public, particularly past Akatsi College of Education students, for Mr. Oliver Fiagbenya’s medical care at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
Mr. Oliver Fiagbenya, a former student of the Akatsi College of Education (2015-2018), was killed in a car accident (head-on collision with a tricycle) on Sunday, October 16th, 2022 on the Adidome-Mafi Kumase route in the Volta Region’s Central Tongu District.
According to the doctor’s assessment, one of his legs, ribs, and spinal cord were damaged, as well as internal bleeding in the chest. A significant brain injury was also sustained. These problems necessitate immediate medical attention.
He was initially treated at the Adidome District Hospital, but was later transferred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra for additional assessment and treatment. Mr. Martin Fiagbenya, the victim’s father, revealed that the victim requires a preliminary sum of GH42,000.00 for surgery, in addition to additional medical bills. Mr. Oliver Fiagbenya is a teacher at the Dabala Comboni R/C Basic School in the Volta Region’s South Tongu District.
