Sad News Hits Christians As Popular Pastor Burnt Alive And His Son’s Head Has Being Cut Off [WATCH]

According to reports, a popular bishop was burned alive while his son was beheaded.

In a renewed communal war between the people of Abanwan and Urugbam in Erei clan, Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State, a bishop whose name has yet to be determined was burned alive and his son beheaded.

The Bishop and his son were ambushed on their way from Abanwan hamlet to adjacent Afikpo in Ebonyi State, according to GRASSROOT REPORTERS.

According to GRASSROOT REPORTERS, the assailants set fire to six houses and their occupants as they mobilized and stormed the Abanwan village.

The Erei communities have been at odds for years over a plot of property known as Oil Palm Plantation Settlement, which was formed by the defunct Eastern Region prior to the Nigerian Civil War.

Because the hamlet was in the state, it was handed over to the Cross River State government shortly after the Nigerian civil war of 1967-1970. However, there are ten settlements in the Erei community, where the oil palm plantation was located.

Meanwhile, troops from the Nigerian Army’s 13 Brigade have marched into the settlements of Abanwan and Urugbam to restore order.

Captain Aluko, the information officer for the 13th Nigerian Army Brigade in Calabar, verified that soldiers and materials were deployed into the communities yesterday.
