Stop stealing toilet roll at Baba Yara Sports stadium – Fans told

Emmanuel Kojo Appiah, the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), has pleaded with fans not to steal toilet rolls when visiting the washrooms at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Emmanuel Kojo Appiah was speaking about his team’s preparations for Asante Kotoko’s CAF Champions League preliminary second-round match against RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso on Sunday.

He advises football fans attending the game to be courteous, especially when using the restrooms.

He bemoaned the NSA’s difficulties, particularly how T-rolls issued by the facility are taken.

“One of the most challenging difficulties we have is controlling the washrooms.” “When people arrive, they should treat it like their home and help us clean it up,” he told Kessben TV.

“When he comes in to relieve himself, there will be T-roll there, and he will put it in his pocket and leave.”

“It’s incredible; when you mention it, people will laugh, but it’s true.” When 50 individuals use the restroom, we normally give them a new T-roll. We had to stop because if you put it there, someone would grab it and go within the first five to ten people.”

He also disclosed the expense of preparing the venue for games.

“We spend between GHC10,000 and GHC20,000 to prepare the stadium for Asante Kotoko games,” he stated.

The Regional Director also urged club administrators, players, and certain technical team members to stop pouring concoctions on the field since it harms the grass.
