Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, continues to make headlines after winning the NASCO coach of the month award for the second time in his stint as the Porcupine Warriors’ coach.
Ogum earned the accolade for the second time this season, having previously won it in November after leading Asante Kotoko to an unblemished month.
In the month of February, Asante Kotoko played five (5) matches, winning four and drawing one. The Porcupine Warriors defeated Medeama SC 1-0 at home and hosted and defeated Accra Great Olympics 2-0, among other results.
Coach Ogum won the prize ahead of Medeama SC’s Abdul Rabi, Karela FC’s Bismark Kobby Mensah, and Bechem United’s Coach Kassim Mingle, alongside whom he was nominated. Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum will get a 43-inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited as part of his prize.
