VIDEO: Ghanaian footballer, Afena-Gyan receives heavy blows from Roma teammate after Conference League win
An AS Roma teammate is seen striking and slapping Ghanaian international Felix Afena-Gyan in the face in a video.
The incident occurred as they were celebrating their first UEFA Europa Conference League title.
An enraged Mancini smacked Afena Gyan in the face and proceeded to strike him in the face with full force as soon as he participated in the celebration.
Afena-Gyan had apparently whispered something to him, which elicited a strong reaction from him. Many Ghanaians have spoken out against Mancini’s actions.
“It wasn’t serious. We joke and fight at the same. That’s how he is. It’s normal..nothing serious”.
AS Roma coached by Jose Mourinho became the first team to win the UEFA Europa Conference League after beating Feyenoord Rotterdam 1-0 in the final.
