We will demonstrate over and over again until Akufo Addo changes — Otukornor

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and member of Arise Ghana, Peter Boamah Otukonor, declared that they will pursue the Akufo-Addo government until it resolves the nation’s economic issues.
He remarked that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo must change in order for the administration to attain peace.

We’ll demonstrate until Akufo-Addo makes a difference. He advised him to revamp his economy if he desired peace.

On June 29, 2022, the second day of the Arise Ghana ‘Kurom Ay3 Hye’ protests, he made the following statement to the media: “If the current administration fails to rescue the current difficulties, the nation would bounce back under the next NDC government.”

He said that their protest was intended to pressure the government into hiring unemployed youth and addressing economic problems.

“If not under Akufo-Addo, then under the NDC, change is on the horizon.

“Give the people jobs; they want jobs; we want employment; get peace by giving them jobs.” “If he can’t lead the country, he should retire,” he continued.
